QUBE - Delivery Model

Quicksilva is committed to structuring projects as a means of steering, managing risk and ensuring a common understanding of the approach to be taken to achieve project success. We use our delivery model, the QUBE, to guide the development and implementation process.

Our development approach typically consists of four key phases:

• Conception – project initiation, requirements capture, budget setting
• Business – functional specification, integrated project plan, change control
• Solution – design, developed code, installation plan, training, documentation
• Transition – deploy to live environment, testing, configuration management, support

Our agile and rapid prototyping approach to development leaves us with a responsive model that can flex through the development life-cycle. In practice, we find that combining the directional approach of the classical Waterfall methodology with the flexibility of Agile development allows us to accurately match client requirements to the end solution, however the choice of model is influenced by several factors.
